Terms and Conditions

These terms govern your use of lavoofficial.com and any purchase you make from it. The site is operated by Shakumbari Enterprises ("LAVO", "we", "us"). By placing an order you accept these terms.

1. Who may order

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. Orders may be placed for delivery within India only, unless we state otherwise at checkout.

2. Our products are food, not medicine

LAVO products are functional coffee and matcha beverages. They are foods, not drugs. Nothing on this site is a claim that any product diagnoses, treats, cures or prevents any disease, and nothing here is medical advice. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking prescription medication, or living with a medical condition, please speak to a doctor before adding a new functional ingredient to your routine. Discontinue use if you experience an adverse reaction.

3. Ingredients and allergens

Ingredient lists and nutritional information are shown on each product page and on the pack. Please read them before ordering if you have an allergy or intolerance. Where a product is produced in a facility that also handles other ingredients, this is disclosed on the pack.

4. Product descriptions and images

We describe our products as accurately as we can. Photography is representative; packaging, colour and finish may vary slightly from what is shown on screen. Where a product page and the physical pack differ on a regulated detail such as ingredients or a licence number, the pack is authoritative.

5. Prices and taxes

Prices are in Indian Rupees and include GST unless stated otherwise at checkout. Delivery charges, where they apply, are shown before you pay. We may change prices at any time, but a change never affects an order we have already accepted.

6. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send you a dispatch confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order — and will refund you in full — where the item is out of stock, where a price or description was listed in obvious error, where we cannot deliver to your address, or where we suspect fraud.

7. Payment

Payment is taken at checkout through our payment gateway. We do not store your card or UPI credentials. If a payment is debited but your order does not confirm, contact us and we will trace it with the gateway.

8. Delivery

We dispatch through third-party couriers. Delivery timelines shown on this site are estimates, not guarantees, and can be affected by weather, courier delays and events outside our control. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Free delivery applies to orders above the threshold shown at checkout.

9. Returns and refunds

Returns, replacements, cancellations and refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

10. Acceptable use

You may not use this site to break the law, interfere with its operation or security, scrape it by automated means for a commercial purpose, or resell our products without our written consent.

11. Intellectual property

The LAVO name, logo, packaging design, photography, illustrations and site copy belong to Shakumbari Enterprises and may not be reproduced without written permission. The LAVO mark is the subject of trade mark application no. 7679826 and is used as an unregistered mark pending registration.

12. Reviews and submissions

If you send us a review, photograph or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it in connection with the brand. You confirm the content is yours to give and is not unlawful or misleading.

13. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Subject to that, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

14. Force majeure

We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, epidemics, and failures of courier or payment infrastructure.

15. Grievance redressal

In accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, our Grievance Officer's name and contact details are published in the footer of this site. Complaints are acknowledged within 48 hours and we aim to resolve them within one month.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Dehradun, Uttarakhand have jurisdiction, without affecting any right you have to bring a consumer complaint before a forum in your own district.

17. Changes

We may update these terms. The version published here at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
